             The school is known as Peace Village Elementary School. A complete elementary school with an area of one thousand five hundred square meter(1,500 sq. m.) situated at MT Boncan Road Samba Ville San Luis, Antipolo City.

 

            Everything started from little things then as time passed by different changes happened that lead to how Peace Village Elementary School came to be.

 

            It was in the second quarter of the year 1994 when a group of concerned parents of Peace Village Subdivision headed by Maria Caday asked assistance from the local government of Antipolo City in putting up an elementary school for their children. These parents wanted to put up the said school inside the subdivision but were not realized because of various reasons. On the opening of classes of school year 1994-1995, pupils were temporarily housed in vacant houses of Peace Village Subdivision.An annex of Inuman Elementary School under the supervision of  Dr. Norma L. Maalindog. Mr. Antonio D. Agcaoili, Head Teacher III headed PVES with six strong and dedicated teachers. They are Cynthia Pantaleon, Susan Refosar, MarivicDessa,FearlyBautista,Ligaya Cruz, and Verna Layakan. They were handling an estimated sum of two hundred pupils from grades 1 to grades 6. While waiting for a school site, parents and teachers work together to attain the quality of education regardless of what kind of classroom environment they have. Through the initiatives of the parents of Peace Village they made a dialogue with SamahangMagkakapitbahay (SAMBA), homeowners Association of Samba Ville San Luis with a common goal, to put up an elementary school in the community which is accessible to their children.

 

            On the 15th day of September, 1994, the SamahangMagkakapitbahay signed a certificate stating that a portion of land of SitioKaybagsik donated for the construction of an elementary school. The signing was headed by Crisol Cate-President, JoviteRoxas Jr.- Vice President, Elizabeth Loreto –Secretary, Rodolfo Mangaran-Treasurer, Elena Dumogue-Asst. Treasurer and Jun Balcueva-Auditor together with the Board of Directors, Gilberto Manahan as Chairman and his members Leopoldo Lorenzo, Antonio Nacion, ArnelPagador, Romeo Lachica, Jimmy Eborde, Clemente Manlangit and Leonardo Allanic. The first building constructed was the JAICA (Japan International Cooperative Association) Building which composed of three (3) classrooms.

 

            Before the closing of the school year 1994-1995, PVES was transferred to its present school site now, the 1,500 square meter lot at MT Boncan Road Samba Ville San Luis, Antipolo City. The school was named Peace Village Elementary School although it was not located inside the subdivision; the name was used in favor of the place where it was first exist. The first graduation exercise was done in 1995 with seventy-five (75) graduates.

 

            Peace Village Elementary School continues serving the pupils in its present school site. During the time of Mr. Agcaoili, BOD1 (Bureau  of Design) with 3 classrooms was added. Before he left PVES, one 2-storey building with six classrooms were constructed. Then Mrs. Araceli Bautista headed the school in 2000 followed by Dr. Iluminada D. Calixtro from 2000-2004. Due to the increasing number of enrolees, another 2-storey building, the VRS (Victor R. Sumulong) building with four classrooms was installed. In the 2004 movement of school head, Mrs. Trinidad A. Vergara promoted as elementary school principal and handled PVES.

 

            Then on the year 2007movement of school head a new promoted principal Mrs. Lelita C. Celeste take charge. A DPWH room was constructed as Principal’s office during her administration. In 2009, Mrs. Felly V. Aminoso headed the school as Principal II. It was followed by   Ms. Marilou M. Lico who supervised the school in 2011. Then on the year 2012 movement of school head, a newly formed principal, Dr. Mervin C. Tortozatakes charge. He is now is handling 2, 400 pupils and 60 strong teachers from Kindergarten to Grade 6.In Kinder, there are 5 teachers who are tasked to handle 234 pupils. In Grade I, there are 9 teachers who are assigned to teachclasses which are composed of 354 pupils. In Grade II, there are 9 teachers who are designated to teach classes which have 415 pupils. There are 8 teachers assigned to handle grade III classes with 362 pupils. In grade IV, 8 teachers were designated to handle classes with 335 pupils. In grade V, there are 9 teachers who are tasked to handle classes with 309 pupils. In grade VI, 9 teachers are assigned to teach classes with 325 pupils. Three (3) of the teaching personnel are assigned in  Alternative Learning System (ALS) who are tasked to handle Out of School Children/Out of School Youth (OSC/OSY). These members of the staff together with five other support personnel cooperatively help one another to keep PVES on the go!
